{Recipe Share} Taco Dip!

My Mom gave me a recipe for Taco Dip when I first got married to the hubby.  Over the years I have tweaked it just a bit, which is why I don’t have a problem sharing this recipe with my readers.  (I won’t EVER share family recipes on here, just so you know!  Those are too sacred for the internet world!)

This has always been a hit at parties – and it is soooo simple to make!  If you make it and are planning on bringing it to a get-together, make it in a disposable pan of some sort.  (2 pie pans or an 11×13)  That way if there are still people munching on it when you’re ready to leave, you’re not having to stick around and wait for your pan or glassware!

I prefer to bring the $2.00/bag chips with me but if you’re willing to shell out an extra buck, I would go with the Mission tortilla chips.  🙂

[Taco Dip]
1 can refried beans
1 large carton sour cream
1 packet taco seasoning
Shredded Cheddar
1 can sliced black olives

Layer the above ingredients in the following manner:

Refried beans
Sour Cream (mixed with taco seasoning)
Cheddar Cheese
Black Olives

Voila!  It is seriously that easy!  Now write down the recipe, and stick it in your arsenal of easy recipes to bring along for last minute get-togethers.
