{Chatter} 2012 Afghan Swap!

Greetings my fellow crochet addicts!

This is the second year that I have been the admin in this wonderful group, and would love for you to be a part of it!

The Afghan Swap on Ravelry is a year long swap where you are dedicated to one partner for an entire year.  In April and August, you will swap packages with a handmade item, a few skeins of yarn, a recipe, and other micelleanous little goodies.  Come December, you will have been working on an afghan for your partner and will send it off to them and recieve one as well.

This last year was so incredibly successful, I can’t even tell you.  My partner was nothing short of fabulous and absolutely spoiled me year round!  That’s the thing about being a crafter, a lot of the time you are the one making all sorts of things for others, but a lot of the time – we don’t get much in return.

That is how the Afghan Swap was born.

So join on in!  I will be closing up sign-ups within the next few days and pairing everyone up…so hurry on over!

Oh, and by the way – here is the amazing afghan my partner made me this year.  🙂
